24 x 36
2008

This eagle quilt is my husband's birthday gift for 2008. It is done with a large amount of 3 dimensional and raw edge work including the feathers at the bottom.
The actual construction of the head and body was so much fun doing. The texture and patterns lend themself so well to the project. My favorite area is around the eye, always the most critical area of any work.

RED DRAGON QUILT

Oversized twin quilt
2008
This quilt was designed with the help of my grandson, Christopher, in the fall of 2007. The story of its development is on the Artistic Endeavors link along with other photos. It was quite a challenge and was finished in time for his August birthday. It didn't, however, get the exposure I would have liked to seen it get, so this will have to do.
